Knitting pullovers usually is a long-term project, mainly done during dark, long winter evenings, long car trips, or using any free moments for knitting – for some special occasions. I have knitted numerous sweaters, but unfortunately I have not taken pictures of them.
A vest for my husband – knitted as his birthday gift (2020). Dessert paintings wool.
I liked my husband’s vest so much, that from the remains of the yarn I knitted another one – for myself (2022)
This sweater I have knitted for my brother – as a present on his 60th birthday (2022). I have used “Italian Tweed”, which is actually boucle and tweed, making it quite difficult to knit. The yarn is thick, made of wool, silk and polyester. The pattern is quite simple, as this yarn cannot be knitted in complicated patterns – it is difficult to see and difficult to knit.
I have knitted this sweater during different trips – in USA, Germany – in cars, trains and even airplanes.
However, the end result is good – the sweater is very warm and it fits well to the owner!
Another example of using “Italian Tweed” resulted into a nice, simple cotton top for myself.
A cardigan from merino wool (super-wash!). I spent 500g of wool. Knitted 2022.
I have used cross-stitch pattern, which gives the cardigan an interesting texture.
This top I knitted from a self patterned (mixing with stripes of single-colored) bamboo sock wool (200g). Knitted 2023.
The same method – elastic sock wool (200g) is applied in knitting this girl pulley. Knitted 2024.
I knitted the stripy “wave” pattern cardigan on request. This cardigan was a big challenge, especially to conform the “waves” on the body and sleeves. White yarn – cotton+mohair, black yarn – cotton+silk+wool.Knitted 2023/2024.
Elegant pulley for a grandson – for special occasions on cold winter days, 2024
